Mini Review Time!

Elizabeth Taylor Perfume

This was mentioned in my first post. It cost me £6.95 (RRP £35). I usually go for fruity perfumes so this was a change for me. It's fragrance notes are described as: Peach, Lilies, Rose, Bitter Almond, Jasmine, Heliotrope, White Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Lily of the Valley, Amber, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Benzoin and Musk.
Rose and Lilies are definitely the overpowering smells here though, and although I don't tend to like floral perfumes all that much, this is floral in a more subtle way and isn't overpowering at all. It isn't my favourite perfume but for the price it's pretty good, especially for an 100ml bottle. The perfume doesn't last all that long though which is a shame.

 Boots Natural Collection Body Sprays

These can be picked up for only £2 each and the whole range smells pretty amazing. I own the Vanilla, Apple and Lime, and Mango and Papaya. I've always had compliments on the Vanilla one whenever I've worn it, it's not meant to be worn as a perfume with tiny spritz, instead you spray all over your body and I find it tends to last most of the day. They're great for when you run out of perfume and I definitely recommend them.

Rimmel Concealer, Mascara and Foundation

Lasting Finish Foundation

I like trying new foundations a lot but I always come back to this one, the lightest shade pretty much perfectly fits my skintone and it's such a good foundation. It doesn't separate or cake on your face and I don't need to reapply halfway through the day and it has a pretty good coverage without feeling too heavy.

Recover Perfecting Veil Concealer

This is the first time I've tried this concealer, I usually use a Dainty Doll or Jemma Kidd one, and I wasn't expecting all that much from it. It's a very lightweight concealer which makes it really easy to blend but means that coverage wise it isn't all that great. It gets the job done and is good for underneath eyes but doesn't do all that much for spots or blemishes. Not quite a 'perfecting veil'. It's not bad but you can definitely find better concealers out there for a similar price.

 Lash Acceleration Endless Mascara

Another first time try, I'm fairly devoted to Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara and to be honest this does a similar job, it's great at lengthening and curling lashes without making them thick and clumpy although the formula is really wet and it's easy to get it everywhere, hasn't quite replaced Great Lash in my make up bag but is a close contender.
